Browser Instructions

Select your browser from the choices below and follow the instructions.
If you are unsure of which browser version you are using, click your browser's Help menu, and select About Navigator or About Communicator or About Internet Explorer to determine your version.

Netscape Navigator 3.0:

Go to the Options menu and select General Preferences.
In the General Preferences window, select Appearance.
In the area marked Startup check the Home Page Location option. Type the URL at the top of the page (i.e. http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net) in the white box and click OK. eatonrapidsmi.net will now be your home page at startup.

Netscape Navigator 4.0:

Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
In the Category window, select Navigator.
Enter http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net in the text field Click OK.

Navigator 3.0 for the Macintosh:

Click on the Options menu Choose General Preferences
Select the Appearance tab
At the bottom of the new screen which appears, where the type reads Browser starts with, click Home Page Location
Enter http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net Click OK.

Internet Explorer 3.0:

Select the View menu and click on Options.
Select Start and Search Pages or Navigation.
In the box marked address, type the URL at the top of the page (i.e. http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net) and click OK.

Internet Explorer 4.0:

Select View: and Internet Options from the tool bar at the top of the screen.
Make sure to select the tab labeled General at the top if the Home Page setting.
Type the URL at the top of the page (i.e. http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net) in the Address box and click OK. This eatonrapidsmi.net web site will now be your home page.

Select Tools: and Internet Options from the tool bar at the top of the screen.
Make sure to select the tab labeled General at the top if the Home Page setting.
Type the URL at the top of the page (e.g. http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net) in the Address box and click OK. This eatonrapidsmi.net web site will now be your home page.

America Online Version 5.0:

When you see the Welcome screen, go to: My AOL on the standard toolbar.
Click Preferences and select www from the menu. Another menu will appear.
In the Home Page section, in the box marked address, type: http://www.eatonrapidsmi.net and click OK. eatonrapidsmi.net will now be your home page, but you always need to connect to the Internet through the AOL Welcome page.

America Online Version 4.0:
